Following on from last year’s popular talent competition the event is again being hosted by MOBO Award winner Pat ’Have Mercy’ Leacock at the Phoenix Cinema on Sunday 21 April. East Finchley’s Got Talent celebrates the variety of incredible talent in N2.
As well as a talent competition there is also a Bake-Off competition on the theme of ‘The Silver Screen’, films shown at the Phoenix. All ages and abilities welcome to apply!
Starting at 2.0pm, local acts will be performing on the Phoenix stage. During an interval in the talent competition the bake-off winner will be announced, and cake will be on sale in the foyer with all proceeds raised going to the Phoenix Cinema charity. The second half of the talent competition will conclude with a presentation to the winner at about 4.30pm.

You can choose to pay between £2.50 - £10 with all proceeds going towards the Phoenix Cinema charity.

Join East Finchley Open Artists for their Winter Fair on Friday 17th and Saturday 18th November at United Reform Church in Muswell Hill for what promises to be a wondeful event to showcase the best of our local artistic talent.

Christmas Tree Lighting
Join us outside Budgen's on Saturday 2nd December 2023 at 5pm for the annual Christmas tree lighting - a lovely community event with carols, hot drinks and plenty of festive cheer!
- Carols from Brookland School Choir (joined by members of East Finchley's men's football team!)
- Music from London Metropolitan Brass Band
- Performances from Fixation Academy
- Hot drinks and minced pies courtesy of Budgen's

Miel de Lucie's annual honey sale
On Sunday 10 December from 11am to 3pm at 18 Beech drive N2 9NY, Lucie Chaumeton of Miel de Lucie will be selling honey, beeswax candles, beeswax food wraps, beeswax and propolis winter salve (new for 2023), plum jam, blackberry jelly, apple honey and rosemary jelly, quince cheese, and lavender sachets. Profits will be donated to the Finchley food bank.
